Sonus faber Homage Tradition according to The Absolute Sound

16th May, 2017

Julie Mullins from The Absolute Sound writes on the May/June issue her impressions, after meeting our Sonus faber Homage Tradition high end speakers during the official launch in NYC.

Julie Mullins was part of the special group of people who had the chance to take part in the premiere of the Homage Tradition collection last February inside the Townhouse in Lafayette Street.
After attending a speech by the Sonus faber Team, who explained the products, she could listen to Amati, Guarneri and Serafino Tradition in three different demo rooms. What struck her, at various levels, was in all the three high end speakers the coherent sound and how it could spread in the rooms, while maintaining various degrees of verisimilitude. While electronics and speakers changed, new and different sound colors would appear.  According to the author, “Sonus faber seems to have succeeded once again in paying homage to the Italian traditions of fine woodworking to heighten musical performance coupled with the company’s formidable modern technologies to ensure a true high-end sonic experience.”
