Suono di Sonus faber: Acoustic Excellence Meets VicenzaJazz Festival 2025

Once again, Sonus faber took center stage at the VicenzaJazz Festival, strengthening the bond with our hometown and reaffirming our commitment to the world of quality music. With the project “Suono di Sonus faber”, the Foyer of the Teatro Comunale di Vicenza was transformed into an exclusive sound installation, offering a unique and immersive listening experience.

An Immersive Sound Experience in the Heart of Vicenza

Within the context of the festival, the Sonus faber listening space became a dedicated hub for high-fidelity audio. At the heart of the installation stood a monumental 5-meter acoustic wall featuring the iconic Stradivari loudspeakers, a true symbol of Sonus faber’s craftsmanship and acoustic innovation.

Thanks to the collaboration with MPI Electronic and Bassocontinuo, who provided electronics and professional racks, the public had the rare opportunity to experience a sound system typically reserved for the most discerning audiophiles. For an entire week, the Teatro Comunale came alive as a space of sonic discovery, where jazz resonated with unmatched audio precision.

Music, Words, and Emotion:

The Events of

“Suono di Sonus faber”

The “Suono di Sonus faber” series enriched the VicenzaJazz Festival 2025 with a program of unique events designed to promote deep and conscious listening in an intimate and technically advanced environment. Each evening offered a chance to explore jazz and its influences through storytelling, emotion, memory, and sonic experimentation.

The journey began on Saturday, May 17, with “The 78s of Marquis Giuseppe Roi”, a guided listening session led by Riccardo Brazzale and Luca Conti, reviving the visionary role of Roi in bringing jazz to Vicenza through his historic record collection.

On Wednesday, May 21, music met civil rights in “An Evening with Rosa Parks”, a powerful and moving blend of video and guided listening, featuring performances by William Parker, Ava Mendoza, Hamid Drake, Celeste Dalla Porta, Ludmilla Faccenda, and again, Riccardo Brazzale.

Friday, May 23, opened a poetic and sensory landscape with “Escape and Wonder of a Friday Night in Vicenza”, where Flo, Enrico Zanisi, and Riccardo Brazzale led the audience on a journey through songs inspired by the “music of the world’s seas.”

Sunday, May 25: The Immersive Listening Session

Closing the series on Sunday, May 25, was a Listening Session led by Raffaele Costantino. DJ, producer, and refined music communicator, Costantino turned listening into a journey of emotion and awareness. Through storytelling, curated tracks, and personal insights, he explored contemporary jazz from the perspective of an experienced and passionate listener. The entire session was elevated by the unmatched acoustic fidelity of the Sonus faber system, which brought out every nuance of sound in an enveloping and resonant experience.

Elevating Listening, Promoting Culture

“Suono di Sonus faber” initiative was born from the desire to return music to its role as a shared and participatory experience. Bringing high-fidelity audio outside of showrooms and into the public sphere means breaking down barriers, sparking curiosity, and celebrating the beauty of sound.

Once again, the VicenzaJazz Festival proved to be the perfect setting for this mission, and Sonus faber is proud to have contributed to the success of the 2025 edition with its signature touch of Sound Elegance.
